Rachel has over 20 years’ experience, supporting company directors whose businesses are facing insolvency. Rachel has extensive experience in guiding companies through insolvency procedures. Rachel has worked with SMEs in many sectors, including construction, manufacturing, and printing. Rachel also works with directors who have been personally impacted by a company insolvency.
Ishbel has worked with Scottish businesses facing financial challenges for the last 25 years. She is a licensed insolvency practitioner, specialising with working with distressed businesses. She is a member of both ICAS and ICAEW. Recent assignments include companies operating in the construction, property management and licensed premises sector.
Gary has over 25 years’ experience in working with businesses across the north of England, assisting them to resolve financial difficulties. He works with businesses across many sectors; recent cases he has advised on include businesses operating in the manufacturing, transport and logistics and events sectors. Gary’s particular area of specialism is solvent liquidations, more commonly known as members voluntary liquidations. Gary is a licensed insolvency practitioner and a member of the IPA.
Paul operates across the north of England and assists directors of businesses to overcome a range of financial challenges. Paul has over 25 years’ experience and has provided advice and assistance to financially distressed businesses across a number of sectors including engineering, manufacturing, retail, restaurants and leisure. Paul is ACCA qualified.
Rehan leads our teams in Yorkshire and the North East. He regularly provides advice to directors and shareholders of distressed businesses and assists them to identify solutions to secure the future of their businesses. Rehan is focused on business rescue and develops and implements strategies to assist with turnaround and recovery. Recent assignments include advising businesses operating in the manufacturing, construction, hospitality, leisure and retail sectors. Rehan is a licensed insolvency practitioner and a member of this ICAEW.
Taz is a restructuring specialist and operates throughout the Midlands, providing expert advice to clients on a range of complex matters. Recent assignments include working with distressed businesses in the real estate, construction, online retail sectors, where he has delivered a range of restructuring and insolvency solutions. Taz is a fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, a licensed insolvency practitioner and a member of the ICAEW.
Richard is a restructuring professional and a licensed insolvency practitioner. He operates throughout the Midlands and advises the directors of distressed businesses on a range of practical solutions to resolve the financial challenges their businesses face. Richard has managed a wide portfolio of recent cases, including the trading of a hotel prior to it being sold out of administration. He has experience of working with businesses operating in many sectors, including retail, hospitality and leisure, food and beverage, legal and real estate. Richard is a member of the IPA.
David is an experienced business adviser, often working with businesses who are financially distressed. His expertise includes providing high-quality innovative and effective recovery solutions to SMEs. David is also a solvent liquidation specialist. His sector experience includes hospitality and leisure, property development and retail. David works with businesses across the south coast and south west of England. David is a licensed insolvency practitioner and member of the IPA.
Gemma is an experienced case manager, working with businesses across the south coast and south west, ensuring their cases are progressed efficiently and professionally. Gemma has regular interaction with clients and understands the emotional impact of business distress. Gemma manages a wide range of client matters and has specific expertise in managing solvent liquidations, where she manages an extensive portfolio. Gemma is a member of the ICAEW and holds the CPI qualification.
Elias is an experienced business adviser who works with business owners in the south east and south coast. Elias’ priority is focussed on business rescue which often results in the preservation of businesses and their staff. Recent cases have included businesses operating in the food production, pharmaceutical and education. Elias is a licensed insolvency practitioner and a member of the IPA.
Brian works with businesses in the south east. He is an appointment taking, licensed insolvency practitioner with over 20 years’ experience of working with financially distressed businesses. Brian has worked with businesses across a wide variety of sectors, but many of his recent appointments have been in the retail and food and beverage sectors, where he has delivered a range of rescue procedures, whilst executing a business restructuring, to secure the future of the business. Brian has specific expertise in acting for businesses who have participated in tax planning schemes. Brian is a member of the IPA and a board member for the south east region of the TMA.
Nick typically works with directors and business owners who are facing financial difficulties, helping them to determine the best strategies to progress, whether it be a turnaround, recovery or liquidation. Nick operates in the Thames Valley and is a licensed insolvency practitioner. He has acted for clients in a wide range of sectors including leisure, hospitality, property and professional services. Maxine advises SME businesses across the south east and on the south coast. Maxine is a restructuring specialist; her expertise includes corporate restructuring and solvent liquidations. Her sector experience includes care homes, hospitality and leisure, retail and charities. Maxine prides herself on providing a high-quality service to business owners of corporate entities or partnerships and individuals who find themselves in need of expert advice when in a position of financial or business unrest. Maxine is a licensed insolvency practitioner and a member of the IPA.
Duncan is a restructuring adviser with over 30 years’ experience of helping the directors of distressed businesses navigate through financial and operational challenges. Over the course of his career Duncan has advised directors of businesses in a very wide range of industry sectors. More recently he has had a particular focus on the retail, hospitality and leisure, construction, transport and logistics, business services and waste management sectors. Duncan is a chartered accountant and a fellow of the ICAEW, he is a licensed to take insolvency appointments in the UK.
Michael has over 25 years of experience in providing vital support to distressed businesses and acts for the management teams as well as stakeholders of a range of businesses typically operating in the mid-market. He provides specialist advice and technical expertise to help them overcome operational and financial challenges. Michael has worked with clients in a wide range of sectors, including financial services, food and beverage, sports clubs and retail. Michael is a licensed insolvency practitioner and is a member of the IPA.
Andrew is a leading adviser to businesses on the south coast. Andrew is a restructuring specialist; his expertise includes advising on financial and operational matters as well as carrying out independent business reviews. Recent assignments have included advising businesses operating in the aerospace and defence, food and beverage, real estate, marine and construction sectors. Andrew is licensed to undertake insolvency assignments and is a member of the ICAEW.
Richard has 20 years’ experience of working with directors of distressed businesses. He works across the south coast and the south west. His role includes advising clients on the various insolvency options available to them and the implementation of an agreed strategy. His recent sector experience includes, hospitality and leisure, property, printing and retail services. Richard is a qualified accountant and is also an insolvency practitioner.
Kelly has been advising businesses across the south coast for the past 15 years. Her expertise includes assisting clients with debt negotiations and clearly explaining available options. She has extensive experience of trading businesses in order to achieve a business sale or facilitate an orderly wind down, as well as leading business sale negotiations and completions. Kelly’s sector experience includes marine, manufacturing and retail. Kelly is a qualified chartered accountant and a qualified insolvency practitioner.
James is a restructuring and insolvency specialist; his expertise includes advising companies, directors and creditors of their options in a wide range of insolvency situations. He has 10 years’ experience in advising directors on a range of solutions to assist them in overcoming financial challenges. James is a qualified insolvency practitioner and is a member of the IPA.
Ben is an experienced forensic accountant and assists businesses to quantify losses they have experienced as a result of a fraud or dispute. Ben provides both expert evidence and advice in relation to disputes, as well as conducts financial investigations. He has worked for clients in a wide range of sectors and managed all types of disputes for major international businesses and individuals. His experience includes dealing with consequential loss claims, contentious valuations, expert determinations, banking redress schemes, compulsory purchase orders, large-scale arbitration and matrimonial disputes.
Mike is a forensic accountant and expert witness who receives regular instructions from clients all over the UK and overseas. He has experience in all aspects of forensic accounting, but specialises in financial investigations, criminal matters, private company valuations and the quantification of the losses/dependency arising out of personal injury and medical accident.
Michael has over twenty years of experience in advising the directors of financially distressed businesses in the south east. He is a chartered accountant and a licensed insolvency practitioner and is a member of the ICAEW. Michael provides directors with bespoke advice to enable them to overcome financial challenges and secure the long term viability of the business. Michael has advised businesses in a wide range of sectors including construction, engineering, retail and hospitality. His most recent cases saw him secure the sale of a children’s nursery providing a great result for all stakeholders.
Mark is a leading personal insolvency specialist. He has spent the majority of his 30 years in the profession helping individuals who are facing financial uncertainty overcome their financial challenges. He is a licensed insolvency practitioner and is a member of the industry body, R3, where he chairs the personal insolvency technical committee. Mark has worked with a very wide range of clients, including company directors, high-net-worth individuals, professional footballers and media personalities.
Jacqui is a tax investigations specialist and leads one80’s tax investigations team. She is a chartered tax adviser and is a former inland revenue inspector of taxes, where she spent 17 years of her career. Jacqui acts for a wide range of corporate and private clients, supporting them with a range of tax investigations and enquiries. Her insight into the inner workings of HMRC means Jacqui is uniquely placed to advise companies and private clients on tax matters.
Sam has significant experience within both Mergers and Acquisitions and Debt Management, advising clients on their growth strategy and helping to guide them through the first steps in securing a company sale or investment. Sam has worked with clients across all major industry sectors.
